How a run works

Cross eight towns, each with three commissions: a small one, a large one and the critic's. Every critic has a rule, and you see it before you start the town.

  • Pure lines of one colour earn a bonus
  • Mirror tiles count as every colour
  • Three hearts per run

The bazaar

Spend the coins you earn in a run on trinkets that change how every clear scores. Crates let you pick one of two or three: trinkets, tools, sketches or extra pieces.

  • 112 trinkets
  • Order matters: trinkets work left to right
  • Nothing is sold for real money

Sculpt your pieces

Chisel a tile off a piece, or add one with mortar. Turn it, flip it, copy it, or scrap it. Paint pieces with five brushes, or glaze them Gilded, Crystal, Marble, Lustre, Stoneware or Mirror.

  • Crystal multiplies but can shatter
  • Stoneware survives its first clear
  • Smaller pieces fit tighter gaps

Restoration, a calmer mode

Cracked tile panels, each with exactly the pieces it needs: drag them home and the picture comes back. One right answer per panel, no hearts and no timer.

  • A hint whenever you want one
  • A daily restoration, the same for everyone
  • Hang finished panels on Rua dos Azulejos
